- HummerBird Celebration: Get ready for the 38th annual Rockport-Fulton HummerBird Celebration in the towns of Rockport and Fulton. - Ritz Spotlight Series: The Ritz Theatre will hold its Ritz Spotlight Series for September with Tales Behind The Tunes: Legends Lyrics and the Stories of Country Music at BUS at 702 N. Chaparral St. The evening will feature music from Nashville songwriters Marv Green and Terry McBride and a dinner buffet. The Ritz Spotlight Series is a taste of what people can expect when the theater opens after its restoration. Proceeds from the event go toward the rehabilitation of the building.
