After a strong week on the football field and volleyball court, eight athletes emerge as nominees for the Caller-Times Apple Dental Center High School Athlete of the Week.
This week's group features two running backs who had more than 300 rushing yards and four volleyball players who helped lead their teams with big performances in key district matchups.
Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Monday and can be submitted through email at ctsports@caller.com by messaging the Caller-Times through its Facebook page, or on Twitter @CallerSports.

Alana Williams, London volleyball
— Williams recorded 20 kills, 12 digs and 5.5 blocks against Rockport-Fulton.
Cassie Garcia, Santa Gertrudis Academy volleyball — Garcia recorded 19 kills, seven digs and two blocks against Falfurrias.
Mia Neely, Banquete volleyball — Neely recorded 24 kills and four blocks in a five-set win against Taft.
Emily Eggleston, Flour Bluff volleyball — Eggleston recorded 12 kills and nine digs in a sweep of Victoria West.
Isaac Romero, Odem football — Romero rushed for 315 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries.
Sawyer Brown, IWA football — Brown completed 9 of 10 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown and rushed 19 times for 167 yards and two touchdowns against Woodsboro.
Sebastian Robles, Carroll football — Robles rushed for 342 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.
JJ Ozuna, Taft football — Ozuna had six catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns, four carries for 14 yards, and nine tackles, a tackle for loss, sack and interception.
