The high school volleyball season begins this week and players and teams across Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend have high expectations in 2026.
Numerous all-state, all-district and All-South Texas performers return looking to lead their teams this season and readers have a chance to choose their selection for the Apple Dental Center preseason volleyball player of the year.
Voting runs through Tuesday, Aug. 18 and the winner will be announced after polls close.
