A man died from a two-vehicle crash that happened on the 7900 block of Highway 361 near Beach Access Road 2 on Aug. 10, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers received a report of a major crash with injuries at 7:10 p.m., officer Madeline Commons said in an email.
Traffic investigators were called to the scene. They located the northbound driver and declared him dead on the scene.
After interviewing witnesses, investigators determined the southbound driver had swerved into the northbound vehicle's lane, according to the email.
The southbound driver was transported by medics to a local hospital.
Police said alcohol is not a suspected factor of the crash.
No additional information was provided and the investigation is ongoing.

charges had been announced by the morning of Aug. 11.
