Beginning on Aug. 31, a section of Flour Bluff Drive from Don Patricio Road to Compton Road will be restricted to one lane of travel for about three weeks, according to the city of Corpus Christi.
This temporary closure will allow construction crews to continue the installation of a waterline to improve system reliability, a news release said.
The installation will also affect adjacent sidewalks. Access for neighboring residents and businesses will remain open throughout construction, and all affected parties have been notified.

The city said this project serves as a significant step toward enhancing Corpus Christi's water infrastructure and improving reliability.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the
work zone and follow posted signs.
