Gregory-Portland and Calallen each notched impressive wins against elite schools in the Coastal Bend, keeping their hold on the top two spots in this week's Corpus Christi hgih school football power rankings.
The list of undefeated teams is dwindling. Ray and Alice also stayed perfect with wins last week.
Much of the area gets into district play this week including both Class 5A districts and District 15-4A Division I.
Here are the Corpus Christi and Coastal Bend high school football power rankings after Week 4 of the 2026 season.

2. George West Longhorns (4-0)
Last week: 2
Longhorns continue trucking along with a big win against West Oso.
3. San Diego Vaqueros (3-1)
Last week: 4
Vaqueros came out 1-1 in a tough two-game stretch after their comeback win against Orange Grove.
4. Orange Grove Bulldogs (2-2)
Last week: 3
Bulldogs edged late by San Diego and have one more contest before moving into district play.
5. Hebbronville Longhorns (4-0)
Last week: NR
The Longhorns have been dominant early.
