• 3rdThursday at Art Museum: Join the Art Museum of South Texas for its monthly 3rdThursday event showcasing local vendors, live music and more. Time: 5:30 p.m. Cost: Free to attend. Information: artmuseumofsouthtexas.org.

Aug. 21

• "Young Frankenstein": Aurora Arts Theatre will present "Young Frankenstein," a musical based on the 1974 comedy that is a spoof of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein." Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: $20 to $25. Information: 361-851-9700, auroraartstheatre.com.
• Los Rangerz — Tribute to "Urban Cowboy": Brewster Street Ice House will host tribute band Los Rangerz at 8 p.m. Cost: $20.25 to $35.50. Information: brewsterstreet.net.

• Fit Over 40 Women's Fit Fest: The YWCA of Corpus Christi will host its inaugural Fit Over 40 Women's Fit Fest at 4601 Corona Drive. The event is a functional fitness competition designed exclusively for women aged 40 and older. Participants will compete in either modified or elite divisions and navigate eight fitness zones designed to test their endurance, strength, mobility and overall fitness.
