Connor Klostermann returns under center alongside Ryder Reeve, Josh Norval and Jimmy Tipton, who were essential in Calallen's district championship run. Calallen remains in Class 4A but will face new district opponents in Miller, Port Lavaca Calhoun, Tuloso-Midway, Beeville, King and Moody.
Head coach Charlie Reeve on the 2026 season
"We’ve got a really good senior class. I think our leadership is really good. We talk about holding the standard, and that’s not something that we just talk about as coaches. That’s something that our guys live. Our guys hold each other accountable, and they expect everybody to do their best. When it becomes a player-led team and not a coach-led team, you’ve got a chance to do something special.
"We’ve got a lot of guys who can make plays, which allows us to be a little bit more versatile. So, yeah, I mean, those guys, I think they’re going to have a great year, and it’s going to be able to help us to become more multiple on offense.”
Running back Jimmy Tipton on the 2026 season
“I’m very excited. It’s really exciting. I feel like our players that have stepped up now, they’ve learned, and they’re doing really good in practice. There’s so much we can get better on, and I’m really excited for the season. Freshman year was a great year, but I’m trying to improve and make it a better year my sophomore year. I want to continue just improving my game in practice, working hard in practice and showing everyone what I can do.”
