A 71-year-old woman was arrested on a manslaughter charge after a man's shooting death in the 3500 block of Tiger Lane on Sept. 15, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 10:41 p.m. and found a deceased man, an online post by the department said.
Muriel Stewart was detained on scene and transported to the main police station for interviewing. Robbery/Homicide detectives were called out to assist.
After she was interviewed, Stewart was arrested and taken to the City Detention Center for booking, the police department's post said.
Stewart was being held in the Nueces County Jail as of 9 a.m. Sept. 16 on $300,000
bail.
Police did not release any details about what led up to the shooting.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
