Want to make your voice heard in the November 2026 election in Corpus Christi?
If you’re not already registered to vote, the deadline is swiftly approaching.
Residents have until Oct. 5 to become official voters — if not registered already — in this election.
Here are some options to register, as shown in a city-issued news release:
- Register in person at the Registrar’s Office at the Nueces County Courthouse, 901 Leopard St.
- Send completed application by mail (must be postmarked Oct. 5 or earlier)
Not sure if you’re registered? Check out this website: votetexas.gov.
The site also has an option to download an application to vote that may be sent by mail.
While there are several federal and state offices up for election, there are also many local races, including those for Corpus Christi City Council, Nueces County Commissioners
Court and multiple district school boards.
Early voting is Oct. 19 through Oct. 30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
