There are 44 candidates running for Corpus Christi City Council in the 2026. What do you know about them?
The Caller-Times believes in voters having access to information that may be integral to their vote.
That’s why its staff invested weeks into soliciting, gathering and compiling questionnaires from each candidate.
Ultimately, 41 participated.
Each candidate was asked about their biography: age, educational background, professional experiences, years of residency in Corpus Christi.
They were all also asked about their positions on some of the most controversial topics — Inner Harbor desalination and the mayor’s removal hearing — as well as stances on how tax incentives are used and their priorities, should they win a place in office.
There are three stories, split up by candidates for mayor, at large and district representatives.
