After a 71-year-old woman was charged with manslaughter in a shooting death, Corpus Christi police said the victim was her husband.
Officers found the man dead after responding to a shooting in the 3500
block of Tiger Lane at 10:41 p.m.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Paul Stewart, 63.
Muriel Stewart was arrested on a manslaughter charge in connection to the shooting. Corpus Christi Police Department senior officer Antonio Contreras said they were married.
Muriel Stewart was being held in the Nueces County Jail custody as of Sept. 17 on $300,000 bail.
Police did not release any details about what led up to the shooting.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
