The start of the Texas high school football season is weeks away.
As the calendar turns to the 2026 season, the Caller-Times is continuing off its annual Players to Watch series with receivers.
The Corpus Christi area has some talented players up front that don't always get their share of the spotlight, but are vital to the success of the offense.
Here are the offensive linemen to keep an eye on this season in the Coastal Bend:
Ethan Barrientos, sr., Tuloso-Midway
The mammoth Barrientos (listed at 6-foot-3), was key to paving the way for Damian Figueroa's record-setting T-M career and will again be the star of the Warriors' OL.
Landon Del Alamo, sr., Orange Grove
Another sizeable force (6-3) in the Coastal Bend, Del Alamo helped the Bulldogs produce two 1,000-yard backs last season, with 41 pancakes.
Jonah Garcia, sr., Odem
The rare four-year
starter, Garcia is the team captain for the Owls and was a unanimous all-district first team selection.
Luke Lawson, sr., King
Lawson was a vital piece of the Mustangs' potent passing attack as the anchor of the King OL, allowing no sacks and three pressures all season.
Leo Martinez, jr., Miller
Martinez (6-2) will be the anchor of the Bucs offensive line after an all-district campaign as a sophomore, including 82 pancakes.
Marcel Molina, sr., San Diego
The leader of the Vaqueros, and four-year starter, Molina makes an impact on both sides of the ball and returns after another first-team all-district season.
Tanner Starling, sr., Rockport-Fulton
On a unit that saw heavy graduation losses, the veteran Starling teams with QB Reid Snyder as the leaders of the Pirates' potent Slot-T attack.
Jason Valdez, sr., Sinton
The 6-3 senior will be leaned on by the Pirates as they move into Class 3A Division I after a state semifinal run after he was a key part of Mykha Green's historic 2025 season.
