Organizers of a Corpus Christi rally headlined by President Donald Trump have announced a location for the event that, if like the previous, will draw a packed house of supporters within the gates and protesters outside of them.
The rally is scheduled for Oct. 27 at the Port of Corpus Christi, 990 E. Port Ave., according to a page on the Republican National Committee website.
Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the main event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., it shows.
It will be the second time the president has visited the Coastal Bend this year; his rally in February was also hosted at the port.
He is one of a series of state and federal officials who have
made their way to Corpus Christi within the past few weeks to spur voters in the midterm election.
