Rivals lists the Vols as a finalist along with Arkansas, USC and Florida State.

The 2027 three-star recruit visited Knoxville last season and in the spring.

Barnes led Westview to the Class 3A state championship last year, totaling 151 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the title game victory over South Pittsburg.

If Barnes commits to Tennessee, he would join Baylor five-star David Gabriel Georges as running back commitments in the 2027 class.
