Christian Mays, a junior college defensive lineman in the 2027 class, announced on Oct. 19 that he has flipped his commitment from Tennessee football to Georgia.
Mays committed to Tennessee in June but kept his recruitment open and received an offer from Georgia in September. He took an official visit there this past weekend as the Bulldogs played Auburn
and announced his decision shortly after on social media."Just wanted to express how thankful I am for the whole Tennessee program for recruiting me and believing in me," Mays wrote on X. "After a lot of thought and prayer and deep conversations with my family, I’ve decided to decommit from Tennessee and (am) now committed to The University of Georgia."
