Here are the candidates for the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union boys athlete of the week. Voters have until noon on Sept. 17 to submit their responses.
Jamir Dean, Alcoa: Dean caught five passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns in Alcoa's 56-7 win over West.
Landon Lightfoot, Austin-East:
Lightfoot threw for 252 yards, three touchdowns and an interception on 15-of-28 passing as Austin-East defeated Scott, 31-28.Isaac Kannah, CAK: Kannah had 10 carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of CAK's 49-0 win over Oneida.
Dylan Brown, Concord Christian: Brown went 20-of-30 passing for 297 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-23 win over Halls.
Keirus Cox, Fulton: Cox caught three passes for 51 yards and rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown
on three carries. Fulton defeated Gatlinburg-Pittman, 32-7.
Kaden Webber, Grace Christian: Webber had three catches for 81 yards and a touchdown, and he had a 65-yard kick return touchdown.
PK Hodari, Lakeway Christian: Hodari logged seven catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns in Lakeway's 41-7 win over Webb.
Carson McDaniel, McMinn County: McDaniel had 10 total tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks and two quarterback pressures in a 52-13 win over Lenoir City.
Kayden Stuart, Oak Ridge: Stuart had six total tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks in Oak Ridge's 42-28 win over Dobyns-Bennett.
Keshawn Thomas, Powell: Thomas turned seven carries into 162 yards and a touchdown in Powell's 42-7 win over William Blount.
Adrian Darby, Rockwood: Darby had 19 carries for 191 yards and three touchdowns in Rockwood's 42-14 win over Midway.
Cooper Newman, Sevier County: Newman went a perfect 10-of-10 passing for 181 yards and five touchdowns in a 69-0 win over Daniel Boone.
