Here are the candidates for the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union girls athlete of the week. Voters have until noon on Sept. 10 to submit their responses.
Mia Kinney, Catholic: Kinney logged 18 kills, six digs, five aces and two assists in a 3-1 win over Webb.
Teigan Slocum, Central: Slocum scored a goal and had an assist in a 4-2 win over Science Hill.
Jailie Rodd, Clinton: Rodd finished with 19 assists, 19 digs, six kills and five aces as Clinton defeated Gibbs, 3-0.
Zoi LeCours, Farragut: LeCours win the Victor Ashe Park Fall Classic cross-country race with a time of 19 minutes, 2.7 seconds.
Makayla Hammond, Hardin Valley: Hammond had a hat trick and two assists in a 6-0 win over Grace.
Kendall Adsit, Heritage: Adsit had 15 assists, four digs
and an ace in a 3-2 loss to Morristown West.
Emery Blankenship, Kingston: Blankenship had a hat trick and an assist.
Sadie McGoldrick, Lakeway Christian: McGoldrick logged 21 kills, three digs and an ace in a 3-0 win over Providence Academy.
Blakelyn Upward, Maryville: Upward had 17 assists, six kills, four digs, a block and an ace in Maryville's 2-0 win over Chuckey-Doak.
Isla Adams, Webb: Adams recorded 29 assists and 16 digs in a 3-1 loss to Catholic.
Lucie Collett, West: Collett had 28 assists and four kills in a 3-0 win over Bearden.
Ella Reed, William Blount: Reed had 28 assists, six aces and six kills in a 3-0 win over Lenoir City.
