A strip mall in Hardin Valley has been under construction for a while, but we're getting closer to finding out what will go inside.
The development, which sits just southeast of Hardin Valley Road, nestled between Award Winning Way and Spring Bluff Way, is on 3.55 acres of land. The building spans more than 18,000 square feet.
Michael Graves Architecture is the design firm behind the project. Stacy Graves, a spokesperson with Michael Graves, confirmed that several national retailers are signed to lease space in the building but could not say what they were.
Renderings from 2024 showed Starbucks and Noire nail bar moving into part of the building.
The project was proposed to Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission in 2024, originally intended to open
in alignment with the Chick-fil-A at 10909 Spring Bluff Way. The project has taken longer than expected, however, and retailers have yet to move into the space.
