A sports bar near West Town Mall is closing at the end of the month with hopes of finding a new location soon.
Paul's Oasis Sports Grille & Spirits announced the closure on social media Sept. 15, saying "just know this is killing me for I consider my staff and customers as family and I do not want to let you down."
"I love you all and pray that something comes up for us to relocate to," the Facebook post says.
The bar's tentative last day in business will be Sept. 27, according to the post. Paul's Oasis is located at 8021 Kingston Pike and is in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's and Barnes & Noble. The bar has been in business more than 20 years.
"I have been aggressively working on finding another location. I know this sucks but I’m doing everything
I can to keep Paul’s Oasis going," the post says. "I’ve been looking for another location for over a year now. Don’t know what will happen."
The lease has been cancelled, according to the post, and Paul's Oasis has to vacate the property by October.
