Here are the top performances from Week 2 of the 2026 TSSAA football season in the Knoxville area.
JD Gillum, Anderson County: Gillum completed 33-of-44 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 42-21 loss to Catholic.
Lane LaRue, Anderson County: LaRue caught 10 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. He had six carries for 38 yards.
Kannon Sipe, Bearden: Sipe rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on eight carries in a 56-13 loss to Alcoa.
Sawyer Anderson, CAK: Anderson had seven total tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack and a forced fumble in CAK's 49-0 win over Heritage. He also caught three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Isaack Kannah, CAK: Kannah rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.
Gibbs football QB Keith Jones Jr. calmed nerves in win over Halls
Mack Bartholomew, Catholic: Bartholomew went 10-of-14 passing for 150 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed five times for 112 yards and a touchdown in Catholic's 42-21 win over Anderson County.
Kruis Buntyn Jr., Catholic: Buntyn had 10 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Keith Jones Jr., Gibbs: Jones went 5-of-7 passing for 200 yards and three touchdowns, along with a rushing touchdown, in Gibbs' 34-27 win over Halls.
Dallas Holt, Gibbs: Holt had three catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Seth Seiber, Gibbs: Seiber had nine total tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks.
Jackson Coffey, Grace Christian: Coffey lead Grace on defense with seven tackles, three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in a 56-7 win over Carter.
Corbin Hobson, Grace Christian: Hobson threw for 237 yards, four touchdowns and an interception on 11-of-14 passing. He also caught a touchdown.
Terrion Thomas, Grace Christian: Thomas had four carries for 15 yards and a touchdown. He caught two passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. He threw a 6-yard touchdown, and returned two punts for 69 yards and a touchdown.
Taren Claridy, Greeneville: Claridy had five catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Greeneville defeated Upperman, 48-14.
Kaine Ricker, Greeneville: Ricker completed 9-of-10 passing attempts for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown.
Dylan Hansen, Harriman: Hansen ran for 92 yards and a touchdown on four carries in a 45-14 loss to Oneida.
Owen Morgan, Jellico: Morgan completed 5-of-8 passing attempts for 161 yards and three touchdowns. Jellico defeated Oakdale, 35-0.
Cooper Edmonds, Kingston: Edmonds caught three passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns as Kingston beat Oliver Springs, 49-14.
Mill Crenshaw, Maryville: Crenshaw had nine carries for 73 yards. He caught three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in Maryville's 48-13 win over West.
Rhys Gardner, Maryville: Gardner had four catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Will Jones, Maryville: Jones went 17-of-19 passing for 271 yards and five touchdowns.
Gage Duncan, Oneida: Duncan rushed 10 times for 125 yards and a touchdown in a 45-14 win over Harriman.
Tate Shepard, Oneida: Shepard had 12 total tackles, 0.5 sacks and a tackle for loss.
Adrian Darby, Rockwood: Darby had 10 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown. He caught a 69-yard touchdown as Rockwood defeated Wartburg, 41-24.
Darrien Hensley, Rockwood: Hensley had three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown, and he had 60 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
Waylon Turner, Rockwood: Turner had six total tackles, a pass breakup, a force fumble, and an interception returned for a touchdown.
Benson Brang, South-Doyle: Brang threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns on 8-of-9 passing in South-Doyle's 34-0 win over Karns.
Walter Gould IV, South-Doyle: Gould ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
Cole Jackson, South-Doyle: Jackson racked up 18 total tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception.
Jack Harrison, West: Harrison threw for 250 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 21-of-20 passing in a 48-13 loss to Maryville.
Silas Monroe, West: Monroe had nine catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.
