Here are the candidates for the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union boys athlete of the week. Voters have until noon on Sept. 24 to submit their responses.
Lane Larue, Anderson County: Larue rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. He caught five passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in a 41-14 win over Carter.
Johnny Rosenbalm, Carter: Rosenbalm had 16 total tackles, three tackles for loss, an interception and a defensive touchdown in a 41-14 loss to Anderson County.
Bo Wilson, Coalfield: Wilson caught three passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns in a 62-20 win over Midway.
Waco Upshaw Jr., Fulton: Upshaw rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 34-14 win over Heritage.
Marshal Gay, Gatlinburg-Pittman: Gay carried
the ball 24 times for 215 yards and a touchdown as Gatlinburg-Pittman took down Pigeon Forge, 38-13.
Jackson Coffey, Grace Christian: Coffey had 14 total tackles, two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble as Grace defeated Webb, 45-10.
Zy Neal, Greeneville: Neal had 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four catches in a 76-8 win over Sullivan East.
Maverick Sharp, Halls: Sharp rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns in Halls' 48-14 win over William Blount.
Clayton Hamblin, Jellico: Hamblin had four catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns in Jellico's 36-22 win over Hampton.
Maki Bell, Lakeway Christian: Bell had 10 total tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a quarterback pressure in Lakeway's 28-0 win over Rhea County. He also had three carries for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Cam Terry, Lenoir City: Terry had nine catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-21 win over East Hamilton.
Ty Fitch, Sweetwater: Fitch finished with 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 23-20 win over Kingston.
