Tennessee football informed season-ticket holders that it will increase ticket prices by 4% in the 2027 season.
Season-ticket holders received an email from UT on Sept. 6, which Knox News obtained. It celebrated the 18th-ranked Vols' 56-9 win over Furman to open the 2026 season and told ticket holders that they'll pay more to see UT games next season.
"What an exciting start to the 2026 season, and thank you for being part of a dominant season-opening victory on Rocky Top," UT said in an email to season-ticket holders. "As we build on that momentum, we want to share important information now regarding the launch of 2027 football season ticket renewals and pricing.
"... For the 2027 season, most seating areas across Neyland Stadium will see a moderate
per-seat increase of 4%."
Rising ticket prices have been a trend at Tennessee, where the Vols sell out every home game Neyland Stadium. UT increased ticket prices 4.5% in 2025 and 4% in 2026.
Tennessee said season-ticket renewals for the 2027 seaosn will begin soon and remain open through Feb. 25, allowing fans to spread costs over a long period of time and consider monthly payments.
"Your continued support plays a vital role in the success of Tennessee Athletics," the email said. "Contributions from football season tickets and the Tennessee Fund directly support our student-athletes and help provide the resources necessary to compete at the highest level."
