Tennessee football will be back in its classic home uniform for its final nonconference game of the 2026 regular season.
The No. 14 Vols (2-0) will wear white helmets, orange jerseys and white pants when they host Kennesaw State on Sept. 19 (7:45 p.m. ET, SEC Network) at Neyland Stadium, the team announced on Sept. 17.

UT's new adidas uniforms also feature a jersey patch sponsored by First Horizon Bank. The deal announced on Sept. 1, which also includes UT Olympic sports, is worth more than $12 million annually for UT athletics.
What is Tennessee's record in each uniform combination during the 2026 season?
UT got off to a 1-0 start while wearing the traditional home combination of white helmets, orange tops and white pants with a 56-9 win at home against
Furman in Week 1 of the 2026 season. It went 3-2 in that same combination during the 2025 season with wins over Syracuse, ETSU and Arkansas, and losses to Georgia and Vanderbilt.
Then the Vols hit the road and played in white helmets, uniforms and pants in a 45-24 win at Georgia Tech on Sept. 12. They won two of four games in the all-white combination in 2025, notching wins over Kentucky and Florida but losing to Alabama and Illinois.
What alternate uniforms will Tennessee wear this season?
UT announced a new edition of the "smokey grey" uniforms it has worn throughout the years on Aug. 20 and it honors the 100th anniversary of Gen. Robert Neyland's first season coaching the Vols. The team will wear the grey uniforms on Oct. 3 against Auburn.
While not necessarily an alternate uniform, the Vols will add a special, throwback flare to the Third Saturday in October this year. UT will wear orange uniforms and Alabama will wear crimson in each of the next two games played between the two schools. The Oct. 17, 2026 matchup will be the first color-on-color clash between the two rivals since 1970.
