Fulton and Gibbs baseball will host the inaugural "One Game at a Time" National High School Baseball Invitational for the first time in 2027, according a press release on Aug. 25.
The baseball classic involves multiple teams around the country from April 1-3, 2027 at Gibbs' Morgan Wallen Field and Fulton's Christenberry Park.
Participating schools include Fulton, Gibbs, Arvada West (Colorado), Eagle High School (Idaho), Glenwood (Alabama), IMG Academy (Florida), Lincoln Way East (Illinois), and Murfreesboro Central Magnet.
Festivities will begin at Covenant Health Park on March 31, 2027, followed by tournament play through the end of the week.
