Eight acres have been cleared near Concord Park on the edge of Farragut and could become a massive mixed-use development. The land is for sale at just over $4 million, an online listing shows.
Conceptual site plans from Oliver Realty show a mixed-use development with ground-level retail, up to 132 residential units and 192 parking spots, which is permitted under the land's zoning in Farragut. Other possible uses include churches, grocery stores or daycare facilities.
It looks like construction site now, but it's just crews clearing brush, Oliver Smith, president of Oliver Smith Realty, told Knox News.

The site is near the corner of Clarity Pointe Lane and Concord Road, and sits between Concord Place Memory Care and residential neighborhoods. It's
also right down the road from the Biddle Farms housing development and Brooklawn Village shopping center.
The property was last sold in 2005 to a local pediatric gastroenterology practice for a little over $1 million, property records show. Nothing was built on the land.
