What is the story about?
In
his July 5 column ("Can pride and patriotism make America whole again?", Page 1E) William Lyons cites how various groups would seek to make America great, including a “growing group ... redistributing wealth to fulfill a socialist vision.“
I wonder why he didn’t mention the group of politicians and business/industry leaders who are, in fact, changing laws and regulations that are rapidly moving what little wealth remains in the hands of rank-and-file people into the pockets of the super wealthy. Would he see this activity as making America great?
