Tennessee football got tricky for a two-point conversion in the first quarter against Kennesaw State on Sept. 19 at Neyland Stadium.
After a Braylon Staley touchdown reception with 26 seconds left in the opening quarter — earning fans free cookies —the Vols scored a unique two-pointer on a trick play.
Long snapper Bennett Brady lined up with only Trent Thomas behind him, snapping the ball to his left side to tight end Luca Wolf. The freshman took the direct snap into the end zone to put Tennessee ahead 15-3 in the closing seconds of the first frame.

Wolf is a 6-foot-5, 256-pound tight end from
Vienna, Austria. The Vols brought him in by way of the NFL Academy in England. He has not recorded an official statistic yet this season.
“I think (Wolf) has absolutely given himself a chance to be a real contributor this fall,” tight ends coach Alec Abeln said during preseason practices. “Obviously, you won’t find out until pads come on and until these next couple of weeks go by. But mentally he's so mature, so smart, knows the game at a much higher level.”
Wolf was a three-star recruit in the 2026 class. Wolf ranked 604th nationally and was the No. 33 tight end in his class, according to 247SportsComposite rankings.
