ESPN's "College GameDay" is less a traditional pregame show than it is a party.
And this week, it's coming to your cittttaaaaaayyyyy, Knoxville.
Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the "GameDay" crew are headed to East Tennessee this weekend for No. 13 Tennessee's game against No. 1 Texas on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Neyland Stadium.
The matchup between the Vols and Longhorns figures to be one of the biggest spectacles in college football during the first full month of the 2026 season.
Both programs enter the matchup ranked in the top 15, saddling the contest with significant SEC Championship and College Football Playoff ramifications. Texas
quarterback Arch Manning, who claims he's never been to Knoxville, will play inside the stadium where his uncle, Peyton, was a superstar in the 1990s.
Amazingly, it will be only the fourth time the historically decorated programs have ever met and will mark the first game between them since January 1969 — six months before the Apollo 11 moon landing.
