Dolly Parton has been reunited with her husband of nearly 60 years.
Parton was laid to rest Aug. 28 at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville, according to a post her great-niece Lainey Mae Parton shared the following day. Dolly Parton is entombed inside a mausoleum right next to her late husband, Carl Dean, who died in 2025.
At Parton’s request, her immediate family held a small, private service for the star, according to an message on Parton's Instagram account. Parton died Aug. 25 at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer.
Fans are allowed to visit the mausoleum and pay their respects, Woodlawn Memorial Park confirmed to Knox News. Flowers and cards can be left there, and they will be mailed to Parton’s family. The mausoleum hours
are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Central Time.

"A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family," an obituary reads on her website.
Fans have left flowers, notes and mementos and played music at the Dolly Parton statue in Sevierville and a Knoxville mural since the day she died.
