Tennessee football defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs went down with an injury during the fourth quarter against South Carolina on Oct. 24.
Hobbs went down after a play with 10:13 left in the fourth and stayed down. He eventually left the field and went to the medical tent, according to the ESPN broadcast.
The No. 11 Vols led South Carolina 24-17 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina, when Hobbs went down.
Hobbs missed the Kennesaw State game in September due to an apparent lower body injury he suffered at Georgia Tech on Sept. 12. He returned the next week for the Texas game and has played in every game since. He was also limited in preseason practice by a foot injury.
Hobbs is a significant part of Tennessee's defensive line with 38
appearances for the Vols now in his senior season.
Tennessee offensive lineman Donovan Haslam also suffered an injury earlier in the game and did not return. He suffered an upper-body injury in the first half, according to the Vol Network.
