Knoxville police are looking for information about a potential hit-and-run that left a woman dead Aug. 12.
The woman's body was found around 1 p.m. along Wilson Road, a residential cut-through near Pleasant Ridge in northwest Knoxville.
The woman's identity has not been confirmed by the Knox County Regional Forensic Center and no one has been arrested or charged.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers anonymously at 877-363-8847. Tipsters can be eligible to receive a cash reward.
