Tennnessee baseball's 2027 schedule starts with Northern Illinois and includes four teams that made last season's College World Series.
Tennessee released its full schedule for the 2027 season on Sept. 30, including nonconference series against Northern Illinois (Feb. 19-21), Missouri State (March 5-7) and Evansville (March 12-14).
Thirty-eight of Tennessee's 56 regular-season games in coach Josh Elander's second season will be played at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, including all 14 midweek games. Highlights from the midweek slate include in-state matchups with ETSU (March 2), Tennessee Tech (April 6), Lipscomb (April 20) and Belmont (May 18).
The Vols also have midweek games scheduled against High Point (Feb. 23), Mississippi Valley State (March 9-10),
Dayton (March 16), Eastern Kentucky (March 23), Morehead State (March 30), Queens (April 13), Alabama A&M (April 27), Eastern Kentucky (May 4) and Bellarmine (May 11).
Game times, ticket information and broadcast assignments will be announced at a later date.
The Vols won't play a true road game until SEC play begins, with their only nonconference event away from Knoxville being the Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic at Vystar Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida, from Feb. 26-28. They will play Cincinnati on Feb. 26 (6 p.m. ET), Illinois on Feb. 27 (noon) and Georgia Tech on Feb. 28 (2 p.m.).

Tennessee's SEC schedule was revealed earlier this month. It includes four teams from last season's College World Series and begins with the Vols hosting Oklahoma on March 19-21.
They also have home series against Arkansas (April 2-4), Georgia (April 23-25), Mississippi State (May 7-9) and Vanderbilt (May 20-22). Tennessee's road conference series will be at Texas A&M (March 26-28), Texas (April 9-11), Auburn (April 16-18), Florida (April 30-May 2) and Alabama (May 14-16).
Half of the eight teams that advanced to the 2026 College World Series are on Tennessee's schedule: Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Alabama. Vanderbilt is the only SEC opponent on the Vols' schedule that didn't make the NCAA Tournament last season.
Nonconference opponents Northern Illinois, Missouri State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and Lipscomb are also coming off NCAA Tournament appearances.
