Voting at knoxnews.com will close at noon Oct. 29, and we'll announce this week's winner on Oct. 30.
Dr Pepper
Young-Williams Animal Center
Dr Pepper is a delightful treat, both as a drink and in pet form. This 3-year-old lad has "an extremely squishable
face," according to his shelter. We have to agree. And there's no need for an apple a day in this case. We'll take all the doctor time we can get.
Koga
Blount County Animal Center
Handsome Koga is a gorgeous Australian shepherd. He's 3 years old, 45 pounds, and loves to play. He's as sweet as can be and would love to go on an adventure with you. He's ready to be your new best friend, especially if you don't have young kids and he can be the only dog in your life.
Dorianna
Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee
Dorianna is an itty-bitty kitty. She's nearly full grown, but weighs just five pounds. So cute! When she made the switch from outdoor life to indoor life, she had mixed emotions, alternating between nervous hisses and sweet purrs, her shelter said. Now, she's all purrs. Little Dorianna has become a total sweetheart who craves love, pets and affection.
Billabong
Sevier County Animal Shelter
Billabong is an adorable American blue heeler mix. He has the cutest pointy ears and the sweetest face. This handsome fellow is 6 years old and gets along great with humans big and small. His shelter says he's in foster care but is "waiting patiently for someone to love him forever."
Roxy
Knox Vintage Pet Project
Roxy is quite the lady. She's a stunning all white, long-haired cat who is a total beauty. She's more than just her looks though. Roxy is playful and affectionate and loves to be silly with a toy or laser or snuggle up beside you. She only has one ask − no dogs, please!
