Here are the candidates for the Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union girls athlete of the week. Voters have until noon on Sept. 17 to submit their responses.
Landree Horner, Bearden: Horner scored two goals in Bearden's 6-0 win over Lenoir City.
Pyper Clevinger, Central: Clevinger had 22 assists, 10 digs and an ace in Central's 3-9 win over Halls.
Laynie Sanchez, Concord Christian: Sanchez had 32 assists, 22 digs, 13 kills and two assists in Concord's 3-2 win over Providence Academy.
Emma Smith, Farragut: Smith recorded a hat trick in Farragut's 4-0 win over William Blount.
Abrie Nickels, Grainger: Nickels racked up 18 saves in Grainger's 2-0 win over Claiborne.
Hayden Perry, Kingston: Perry scored four goals and had an assist in Kingston's 9-0 win
over Sequoyah.
Katy Emory, Maryville: Emory had a clean sheet with eight saves in Maryville's 1-0 win over Girls Preparatory School.
Lucero Franco, McMinn Central: Franco had a hat trick and an assist in a 14-0 win over Tyner.
Kylee Moss, Oliver Springs: Moss scored two goals in Oliver Springs' 3-1 win over White County.
Raelyn Whaley, Sevier County: Whaley had 17 assists and 13 digs in a game against Morristown West.
Denice Gaston, Webb: Gaston had 21 digs, 13 kills and an assist in Webb's 3-0 win over West.
Peyton Correll, William Blount: Correll had 26 kills, 15 digs, four blocks, three aces and an assist in a 3-2 loss to Maryville.
