You can tell a low level, bogus religion in that the primary motive is power and control over others. A true religion focuses on the growth of love and compassion for all beings.
We have a group of Republicans who would like to force their brand of religion based on fear and power on the rest of us. We say no. We say we are adults. We think for ourselves, and we reject your control. You aren’t interested in making life just and happy for all. You would like it if there were no diversity whatsoever.
Never mind that the God you claim to worship made so many different varieties of plants and animals. And not one of them is exactly the same as another. Think about human beings - billions of us and each one with a unique body and a unique brain and a unique environment
- each one animated by the same mysterious, invisible source. And you want all of us to be just like you? Balderdash and horsefeathers! You must be mad as haters.
You see what I did there?
