Many celebrities have started planting roots in Nashville and multiple other Tennessee cities have seen an influx of people moving to the area in recent years. Among those making the Volunteer State home is actress, Jill Wagner.
During a recentinterview on Fox News, the "Lioness" star explained her reason for choosing Tennessee as a place to call home.
Wagner has ties to North Carolina, she explained during her Fox interview. She was born in Winston-Salem and is a graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, according to her IMBd biography.
"We looked in and around North Carolina – couldn't find anything. So, Tennessee – found a piece of property in Tennessee," Wagner told Fox News, also explaining that close proximity to her family
was a driving factor of her move to Tennessee.
Wagner and her husband David Lemanowicz bought their Tellico Plains property in 2016 and now live there with their three children. After renovating, the couple opened Scott Mansion Farms and now host both public and private events on the property.
Who is Jill Wagner
Wagner is an actress, most recently known for her role as Bobby on the thriller series, "Lioness." She appears alongside A-list celebrities in the show like Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
"Lioness" Season 3 premiered on Aug. 2 on Paramount +. A premiere for the newest season of the show was held on July 29 in New York City.

Wagner has appeared in other TV shows including "Teen Wolf" and "Wipeout."
She married Canadian hockey player Lemanowicz in 2017, according to his IMBd. Lemanowicz is listed as a executive producer of "Lioness". He produced 24 episodes between 2023 and 2026.
What is Scott Mansion Farms
Scott Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, according to the National Park Service. The family operates it as a historic working farm, growing crops and raising cattle, according to the Scott Mansion Farms website.
The property was originally owned by Charles Abner Scott who constructed the neo-classical revival mansion that is still on the property and was renovated by Wagner and Lemanowicz.
There is a chapel and vineyard on the 200-acre farm that are both available to rent for private events. The farm website says it hosts events, including weddings, reunions, fundraisers and corporate retreats.
Scott Mansions Farms is home to Abner's Retreat, an Airbnb available to rent out.
The Airbnb listing describes Abner's Retreat as "tranquil" and a "cozy cottage." The two bed and two bath listing can accommodate up to four guests.
