Expect closures along Alcoa Highway

As part of President Trump’s visit to Neyland Stadium, there will be road closures along Alcoa Highway between McGhee Tyson Airport and the University of Tennessee campus.

Police will close the ramps and connection points along the highway, though plans remain fluid and could change up until the event, Tennessee Department

of Transportation spokesperson Mark Nagi said. Drivers should plan ahead.

TDOT doesn’t manage roads the smaller roads closer to Neyland Stadium, so those decisions will be up to the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local police. A spokesperson for the Knox County Sheriff’s Office declined to share details of planned closures.
