Kesha honors Dolly Parton with a special song
Singer and songwriter Kesha paid tribute to Parton at her show near Pittsburgh on the night of the star's death by singing an acoustic cover of "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You," a song written by Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert, for Parton.

Harry Styles says Dolly 'inspired' him
Harry Styles, in one of the first nights of his residency at Madison Square Garden, played an ode to Parton toward the end of his show. Styles dimmed the lights for fans to wave their flashlights as Dolly's "I Will Always Love You" played for fans to sing along.

Buckingham Palace hears '9 to 5'
Who would've thought a girl from the mountains of East Tennessee would have a special rendition of her hit song played by the King's Guard? In front of Buckingham Palace, the King's Guard played a special rousing rendition of "9 to 5" on Aug. 26.
Tame Impala creator says Parton's death 'really got him'
Kevin Parker, creator of Tame Impala, an Australian psychedelic musical project, said Parton's death "really hit me." He took a moment of his show in Columbus on Aug. 25 to honor her by singing a few lines of "Jolene."
"Dolly Parton's music is so amazing and she's such a beautiful soul," Parker said on stage. Parker played a video of Parton singing "I Will Always Love You" for the crowd.

Pitbull toasted to Parton's life and legacy
Pitbull took a moment out of a recent show to slow down the pace and honor someone "very special" to him, he said. The rapper said Parton showed him love when "a lot of folks didn't." He played a collab remix of her song "9 to 5."
"She lived an amazing life. A hard-working woman, intelligent, sophisticated, funny, powerful, intimidating. But more than anything, a good human being with a good heart," Pitbull said.

Morgan Myles gets standing ovation for Dolly tribute
Country singer Morgan Myles tearfully spoke of Parton's influence on her life as a young girl before singing "I Will Always Love You" at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville. Myles received a standing ovation.
'Make some noise for Dolly,' Snoop Dogg asks
At Snoop Dogg's Death Row Pictures Backyard Chill on Aug. 26, the rapper played "9 to 5," saying everyone had been working all week and needed to have fun.

All-American Rejects lead singer Tyson Ritter played an acoustic cover of "I Will Always Love You" at a show to honor the Queen of Country Music. He joked Whitney Houston's version was his "gateway drug" to Parton.
