Two buildings used to be at 1006 and 1002 N. Broadway. Now, the site is just an empty lot.
When the adjoining buildings were still there, they totaled 10,404 square feet. In 2005, a real estate listing in the Knoxville News Sentinel advertised the properties for sale as commercial office buildings with a total of three restrooms and 17 offices.
In 2020, 2W Broadway Acquisition bought the property at 1006 and 1002 N. Broadway, and in 2021 it acquired a neighboring lot at 1016 N. Broadway. That building, formerly Sleeping Giant Tattoo, still stands. A demolition permit was opened in December 2025 for the two structures on the now-empty lot.
2W Broadway Acquisition shares a mailing address with Wright Brothers Properties LLC, which rents housing in Knoxville.
Knox News' calls to the business were not returned.
