Ella Langley will soon be singing in the Smoky Mountain rain and two-steppin’ around Food City Center. Could a famous Knoxville native join her on stage?
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer – whose hit song has tied the recordfor holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 – is making a stop in Knoxville on her “Dandelion” tour on Sept. 24. Langley hasn’t had many surprise guests during the tour other than scheduled opening acts joining her onstage for a performance.
However, Knoxville is the home of another Billboard chart-topper: Morgan Wallen. And Wallen is known to keep fans guessing on what he’ll do on stage or where he’ll pop up next.
Could Morgan Wallen perform with Ella Langley in Knoxville?
Langley and Wallen have one song together. "I Can't Love You Anymore" was released as a single in April and is
featured on the reissue of Langley’s “Dandelion” album.
The single peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been a No. 1 hit on country charts. Langley joined Wallen for a performance of the song on his “Still the Problem” tour.
Langley also has been a frequent opening act for Wallen, including the “One Night at a Time” (2024), “I'm the Problem” (2025) and “Still the Problem” (2026) tours. During tour stops, the duo would perform "What I Want," a duet originally recorded by Wallen and Tate McRae.
Wallen – a Gibbs High School graduate – wrapped his successful “Still the Problem” tour on Aug. 1, and he has no shows or events scheduled for Sept. 24, according to his official website or his Live Nation profile as of Sept. 16.
So it appears logistically possible for Wallen to make a surprise appearance during Langley’s Knoxville show, as of Sept. 16. However, there is currently no public indication that Wallen will appear at the Knoxville concert. Any expectation of a guest appearance appears to be driven by fan speculation.
Wallen often has surprise guests during his own shows. When he played two concerts at Neyland Stadium in 2024, he surprised fans with Peyton Manning, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and University of Tennessee at Knoxville baseball and football stars.

Who will be performing at Ella Langley’s concert in Knoxville?
Kameron Marlowe and Laci Kaye Booth are confirmed to be the opening acts for Langley’s Food City Center concert.
Based on a published set list for the concert, Langley brings both artists back to the stage to perform “Strangers” with Marlowe and “Dreams,” a Fleetwood Mac cover, with Booth.

Tickets are still available for Langley’s Sept. 24 concert at Food City Center via Ticketmaster. Tickets were starting around $119 as of Sept. 16.

However, it should be noted that all available tickets were either “verified resale tickets” or seats with an “obstructed view.”
