If it felt like Halloween arrived early when Spirit Halloween began opening Knoxville locations in early August, then brace yourself because another pop-up store is coming to town, and bringing the yuletide spirit with it.
Spencer Spirit Holdings told USA TODAY it would be opening 44 Spirit Christmas locations across 15 states, including Tennessee.
The company, which has no permanent storefronts, has been opening Spirit Halloween locations since 1983. Spirit Christmas is a more recent addition. Locations first opened in 2024 with eight storefronts across the Northeast. Spencer Spirit Holdings expanded to 30 locations in 2025 and grew again for the 2026 season.
