There are only a few more days left of early voting in Tennessee!
In Knox County, anyone can vote at one of 11 locations with varying hours through Aug. 1. If you skip early voting, you'll have to go to your designated polling place on Aug. 6.
The election is a busy one. Voters will decide who will lead in Knox County and Farragut, and nominate Democratic and Republican candidates in state and federal primary elections.

When is Knox County early voting?
Hours vary depending on the day and place you vote.
Early voting hours for Carter Senior Center, Downtown West, Emerald Youth East Area Ministry Center at Five Points, Faithway Baptist Church,
Farragut Community Center, Firestone Building, Gibbs Ruritan Club and New Harvest Park:
- July 29-30: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- July 31: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Aug. 1: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Early voting hours for the City-County Building:
- July 29-30: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- July 31: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Aug. 1: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Early voting hours for Karns Senior Center:
- July 29-31: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Aug. 1: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Early voting hours for Meridian Baptist Church:
- July 29: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- July 30: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- July 31: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Aug. 1: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Do I have to show an ID to vote?
Yes, you do.
These forms of identification are acceptable, even if they are expired:
- Tennessee driver's license with your photo
- Passport
- Photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security
- Photo ID issued by the federal or Tennessee government
- Military photo ID
- Tennessee handgun carry permit with your photo
