Is Morgan Wallen teasing that he'll be this week's "College GameDay" guest picker?
The traveling, weekly pre-game show has yet to announce a guest picker for this week's show as the Tennessee Volunteers prepare to take on Texas, but Wallen might have just given college football fans a hint.
He's one of the names that has come to mind when trying to predict who the guest picker will be
, but merchandise listed on his website might have just confirmed those suspicions.Other possibilities for the guest picker role are Candace Parker, Leanne Morgan, and Peyton Manning.
Wallen put a Tennessee vs. Texas t-shirt dated Sept. 26 on his website. The shirt is only available for pre-order right now and says it will ship by Sept. 25.
The "The Way I Talk" singer,
who is from Knoxville and often includes lyrics about Tennessee football in his songs, played two sold-out shows at Neyland Stadium in fall 2024. The stadium is rarely used as a music venue.
Other country stars have been chosen as 'College GameDay' guest pickers
Lainey Wilson kicked off the football season when she was chosen as "College GameDay's" guest picker for LSU's Sept. 5 matchup against Clemson.
Similar to how Wallen has ties to Knoxville, Wilson is a Louisiana native.
Kenny Chesney, also a Knoxville native and one of the names being tossed around as this week's potential guest picker has served in the role before. Chesney returned to his hometown to be the guest picker in 2012.
In 2025, country star Jelly Roll was chosen as the guest picker during a Georgia Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels game.
How to watch 'College GameDay'
"College GameDay" airs from 9 a.m. to noon ET and is broadcast live on ESPN and ESPNU. The show is also available for streaming on the ESPN app. You can also view the game and ESPN's coverage on FuboTV.

The first two hours of the show will air live from the Ayers Hall lawn, and the final hour will be inside Neyland Stadium.
The Volunteers' home game against Texas will air onABC at noon.
