What’s the new festival at Dollywood in 2027?
What’s old is new again. Dollywood is bringing back the Barbeque & Bluegrass Festival, according to the 2027 operational calendar. Dollywood last hosted the festival in 2019. It was set to return in 2020, but the park’s schedule was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival typically featured live performances of bluegrass music and a variety of smoked meats that paired with the music.
Also returning is Harvey's Boo Bash during October's Harvest Festival. The 2027 calendar features six dates for the separately ticketed event. Only three bashes are being offered this month during the afterhours event's debut 2026 season.
The dates for the 2027 seasonal festivals are:
- I Will Always Love You Festival | March 11-April 11
- Flower and Food Festival | May 7-June 20
- Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration | June 26-Aug. 8
- Barbeque and Bluegrass Festival | Sept. 3-6
- Harvest Festival | Sept. 11-Oct. 31
- Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival | Nov. 5-Jan. 2
