It started as a clever way to get Tennessee football fans into Neyland Stadium early ahead of President Donald Trump's visit to Knoxville on Sept. 26. Now athletic director Danny White says the half-priced
early concessions promotion will be in place for the remainder of the season.
Like they did when the Vols hosted No. 1 Texas, gates at Neyland Stadium will open three hours before kickoff and all concessions, including alcohol, will be half-priced for the first hour. White is calling it "Happy Hour at Neyland Stadium."
Should we make it a thing? Feels like we should make it a thing.

Inspired by Vol Nation’s incredible response to unusual pregame circumstances last week, Happy Hour at Neyland Stadium will be in effect for the remainder of the season!
Gates will open three hours early, with…
The promotion will be in place for UT's final four home games vs. Auburn on Oct. 3 (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), Alabama on Oct. 17, Kentucky on Nov. 7 and LSU on No. 21.
Gates previously were opened 2 1/2 hours before kickoff.
UT athletics ran the promotion for the Texas game with expected delays getting into Neyland Stadium because of traffic, a large crowd for a sold out game, and added security necessitated by the president's attendance. But White said the half-priced concessions were well received enough to make it permanent.
