The 2026 TSSAA high school sports season continues with another week of competition in the Knoxville area.
Here are the top performers from Week 2 of the TSSAA sports season.
Aug. 25
Golf
Caroline Britton, Sequoyah: Britton shot a 43 in a match against Tellico Plains and Sweetwater.
Coltyn Greeson, Sequoyah: Greeson shot a 40, his lowest score of the season and had his first eagle in 2026.
Soccer
Avery Stevens, Bearden: Stevens scored her first goal in Bearden's 3-0 win over Powell.
Brytin Fowler, Central: Fowler scored two goals in Central's 5-1 win over Grace.
Teighley Fowler, Central: Fowler had a hat trick.
Makayla Hammond, Hardin Valley: Hammond scored two goals and delivered three assists in Hardin Valley's 9-0 win over Jefferson County.
Jaelyn Jimenez, Hardin Valley:
Jimenez had two assists.
Sara Lopez, Hardin Valley: Lopez also had two assists.
Zoe Price, Hardin Valley: Price had a save and scored a goal.
Hannah Rohden, Hardin Valley: Rohden scored two goals.
Dory Georges, Morristown West: Georges scored both goals in Morristown West's 2-1 win over Loudon.
Volleyball
Peyton Dotson, Sequoyah: Dotson had 10 kills in Sequoyah's 2-1 win over Karns.
Ella Edmonds, Sequoyah: Edmonds had 14 kills and 10 digs.
Annalee Rogers, Sequoyah: Rogers recorded 12 digs, three assists and an ace.
Karah White, Sequoyah: White had 28 assists, 12 digs and seven aces.
Aug. 24
Volleyball
Ari Cole, Alcoa: Cole had 13 digs and 11 kills in a 2-1 loss to the Knoxville Trailblazers.
Skyla Jolly, Alcoa: Jolly had 26 assists and 11 digs.
Kaylee McIntosh, Alcoa: McIntosh had eight kills.
Guilia Santos, Alcoa: Santos finished with 14 digs and five aces in a 2-1 win over Oak Ridge.
Willow Aiken, Greeneville: Aiken had 10 digs as Greeneville fell to Science Hill, 3-0.
Katie Johnson, Greeneville: Johnson recorded seven digs and seven kills.
Natalie Knight, Greeneville: Knight had nine kills and nine digs.
