Knoxville Reba McEntire fans, keep your eyes peeled during the newest season of her NBC sitcom "Happy's Place" for references to the Scruffy City.
The third season premiered Friday, Oct. 23, and, as it has done in past seasons, dropped Knoxville Easter eggs throughout the show.
In addition to its usual Knoxville nods, "Happy's Place" will also feature a special tribute to East Tennessee favorite Dolly Parton during an upcoming episode.
Knoxville references in Reba McEntire's 'Happy Place'
Season 3, episode 1 of "Happy's Place" featured a few different Knoxville references.
The latest episode featured the usual Vols memorabilia in the background of the show's set. There was also a background character wearing a Tennessee orange shirt during the episode.
Where is 'Happy's Place' set?
There's a good reason there's so much Vols memorabilia
in "Happy's Place." The show is set in Knoxville, although it is filmed in Universal City, California. McEntire described East Tennessee as a “beautiful part of the country” and has visited many times, making it easy for her to reference the region in her sitcom, according to The Cinemaholic.
The show follows McEntire's character, Bobby, who inherits a bar in Knoxville from her father. The bar is where Knoxvillians can spot many of the Easter eggs, like a "Power T" hanging on the wall.
There is also a Yee-Haw tap shown in the bar. Yee-Haw Brewing was founded by UT alumni in 2015, with a location in Johnson City. The brewery's Knoxville location opened in 2023. Yee-Haw recently partnered with the University of Tennessee to become the exclusive craft beer of the Vols and created the Vol Lager.
McEntire is from Oklahoma and does not have ties to Knoxville.

Dolly Parton tribute planned for 'Happy's Place' episode Oct. 30
The next episode of "Happy's Place," scheduled to air on Oct. 30, will feature a tribute to Parton, a longtime friend of McEntire's.
Parton's death was announced while the second episode was being filmed, according to USA TODAY. The cast and crew were all affected by the news. McEntire said a "Happy's Place" cameraman told a story about working with Parton on the set of "Reba."
At the end of "Happy's Place" season 3, episode 2, the words "We will always love you" will be shown on-screen, alongside a picture of Parton and McEntire taken when the two remade "Does He Love You" in 2021.
