His return to the Super Troopers universe, even in a supporting role, brings a level of gravitas that’s hilariously at odds with the surrounding shenanigans. For casual viewers, seeing the fearsome Logan Roy dealing with Farva is a comedic premise in itself.
Jay Chandrasekhar
As the director and a lead actor (Thorny) in all the Super Troopers films, Jay Chandrasekhar is the de facto leader of the Broken Lizard crew. While he's most famous for this franchise, his face and name are likely familiar to TV comedy fans. He has become a prolific television director, helming episodes of dozens of beloved, mainstream shows, including Community, Arrested Development, Psych, and The Goldbergs. So even if someone hasn't seen Beerfest, they've almost certainly enjoyed his work.
Kevin Heffernan
You either love or love to hate Trooper Rodney Farva, the loudmouthed, liter-of-cola-chugging patrolman played by Kevin Heffernan. Beyond the mustache, Heffernan is a co-creator and star of the popular firefighter comedy Tacoma FD. He's also popped up in numerous other shows and films, including a memorable turn on Curb Your Enthusiasm and a role in the Disney superhero flick Sky High. His distinct voice and comedic presence make him instantly recognizable.
Hannah Simone
A new addition to the franchise, Hannah Simone joins the cast of Super Troopers 3. For millions of viewers, she is instantly recognizable as Cece, the sharp-witted best friend and model from the long-running, massively popular sitcom New Girl. Her seven seasons on that show made her a familiar face in primetime comedy, and her presence in the new movie adds a fresh, recognizable dynamic to the established crew.
Chace Crawford
Another newcomer to the series, Chace Crawford's casting raised a few eyebrows in the best way. For an entire generation, he will always be Nate Archibald from the original Gossip Girl. Marisa Coughlan
Returning to the franchise is Marisa Coughlan, who played Officer Ursula Hansen in the original film. Playing the calm and collected Trooper Foster, Paul Soter is another founding member of Broken Lizard.
