Showtime and Location
The BET Awards 2026 will air live on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The ceremony is taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. Doors for the live event open at 2:00 PM, with the main event starting at 5:00 PM local time for attendees.
For viewers at home, the broadcast kicks off simultaneously across the country at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 8 p.m. Pacific Time.
How to Watch on TV
The primary channel for the ceremony is, of course, BET. However, in a move to make the show widely accessible, parent company Paramount will also simulcast the event across a variety of its other networks. Viewers can also tune in to BET HER, MTV, MTV2, VH1, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, CMT, LOGO, POP, TV Land, and Nickelodeon (at Nick at Nite) to watch the entire show live.
Streaming Options for Cord-Cutters
If you don't have cable, you still have several options to stream the BET Awards live. Services that carry the BET channel include Philo, Sling TV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. Philo is often the most affordable option, offering a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, which would allow you to watch the awards for free. You can also stream the show via the BET NOW app by logging in with credentials from a participating TV provider. It's important to note that while much of the BET+ library has moved to Paramount+, the live awards show will not be streamed on Paramount+.
Your Host for the Evening
Comedian, actor, and social media sensation Druski will be hosting the BET Awards for the first time, making him the youngest host in the show's history. Known for his viral skits and charismatic humor, Druski is expected to bring a fresh and energetic vibe to the stage. His appointment has been praised by fans and celebrities alike, who are anticipating a night of unpredictable and comedic moments.
